Resources
The Knowing is Voicelore’s resource branch—offering trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming guidance for those seeking to better understand gender-based violence. Originally created as stopsexualassault.org by two of our founders, Marcellé and her mother, Lynette, after Marcellé survived assault in college, this space was built to make essential tools easier to access—especially for survivors navigating silence, confusion, or disbelief. Now part of a broader survivor-led organization, The Knowing provides clear, compassionate resources for survivors, allies, educators, and care providers—covering how to recognize abuse, support disclosures, navigate systems, and challenge the myths that silence survivor stories. It also explores how music can support healing, identity, and social change. This is not a clinical platform—but it is grounded in lived experience, and designed to meet people wherever they are.
